She waited til her due date and I am so in love with her..

Jordan
Went to the doctor for my 40 week apt and was told I was on the induction schedule for 41 weeks so we were excited. I was dialated to a 3 and 50% at 39 weeks. The day of my 40 week apt I was told I was still 50% and a good 4. I assumed she was going to wait til I was going to be induced to come into the world. Turns out, she was going to come the day she was due. I went to the hospital on the 31st of May, and was a 5 by the time I got there but still 50%. They decided to keep me and just watch to see how it was progressing. I had the epidural and it only worked on one side, so I experienced half natural and half numb. My first child 8 years ago, I was completely numb and have the up most respect for women that do it naturally because it was very painful. I was nauseas and was throwing up and I told them it was time to push. The nurse tried to say that she just checked me and I was a 7, and it wasn't time but in a matter of 10 minutes I went from a 7 to a 10. I felt like it was time to push and the need to poop. After pushing for 10 minutes my beautiful daughter was born and we couldn't be happier. She was 7 lbs 3 oz at 19 1/3 inches long. We welcomed Avery Leigh with open arms and hearts.
