Is 37.5 C (99.5 F) considered a fever?

I've been feeling ill all day and I just took my temperature and it said it was 37.5 C. Is that a fever? Should I be concerned or am I okay?

Usually over 100 is when a fever starts making you feel crummy, but manageable. Take an Advil if it gets to the point you're uncomfortable

You're okay. It can definitely make you feel shitty but low fevers/slightly high temps aren't necessarily a bad thing. It means your body is fighting off whatever is making you potentially sick. If you doesn't go up past that you're fine. If it stars getting higher maybe then worry. Other than that you can take Advil!

I'm. Nurse and the Docs tell me 99.5 is considered  low grade temp. Now if the environment is warm? That could be the attributing factor?? Other symptoms??

My tempature is normal around 96-97.  However everyone individually speaking of normal is different.  A elevated temperature for me at 98.5 to 99.7 is considered somewhat a slight/borderline fever to me.  My tempature feels somewhat feverish and warm at 98.9 because whenever I feel very warm that is what tempature is sometimes. It raises on my menstrual period or during a ovulation cycle.  In my opinion what fever is some people could be different.  Maybe tempatures 98 to 99 for is somewhat feverish even though it's not classified as one in the range.  Well anyway I regard it as a borderline fever for me when I feel feverish.

It might be that everyone might be different regarding what their own normal body temperature really is.  My normal tempature is usually 96 to 97 and that is for me individually.  A tempature of 98.9 to 99.7 I'd actually feel slightly elevated or warnlike that could be considered a slight or borderline fever.  Everyone is actually different when they get sick.  Everyones normal range is different from from one another.  Sometimes during my menstrual cycle my tempture raises higher than usual usually to 99.
