23 and just got diagnosed with low AMH
Hey everyone!
I have been trying to conceive for the past 21 months. I have a normal 30-day cycle and have never been on birth control. I have never gotten a BFP in the time that I've been TTC. I decided to see a fertility specialist because all the ovulation tracking and 2 week wait was getting to me!
I recently met with my Fertility specialist as a follow up for fertility checkup.
He was not able to answer a lot of my questions because he himself was very confused. He said "half my brain is very worried and the other half knows you're very young" what is that even supposed to mean? I understand that a lot of research has not been done on low AMH levels in people of my age but I'm still extremely frustrated and depressed.
I did some research online and read about other women who had low AMH but I didn't find anyone in my age group. That scares me even more!
Is anyone else in the same position as me or has been in a similar position? If so how did you go about your diagnosis?
