Cold like Symptoms before Labor?

I know it may be an Old Wifes Tale but my sister got cold like symptoms before she had both my neices. She had the stuffy nose & sore throat but when she went into delivery it went away. Has anyone else heard of this? Ive read about it, but want to know if anyone here has heard of it or know anyone that this has happened to!

I've had a stuffy nose and sore throat for over a week now... If even just the "it went away when she went into labor" part is true, I'll be a very happy girl!! I miss being able to breathe!!!

I've had a stuffy nose and sore throat with a cough for months now, as well as horrible allergies. I doubt there is any coralation lol. I sure do hope it goes away after baby arrives. So tired because I can sleep because I cannot breathe.

I woke up with a stuffy nose and irritated nasal/throat passage.   Hopefully it's baby and not allergies/cold lol

Really?! I just got sick last night but my husband was first.. Now my toddler is too and we all feel terrible! Sinus cold I'm thinking and they're the worst!

I've heard of flu-like symptoms before labour but never cold-like symptoms. I know some women have a stuffy nose their whole pregnancy though.
