Taking the pill correctly

So I have just started using the pill and this is my first packet( progress so far). I got my period on the Thursday so started in the blue area as told by my doctor on the thursday( accidentally started on the Monday but continued on the Friday as you can see in the blue area). 

My question is: as you can see I only have two days ( thurs and fri second to bottom row) untill I am onto the bottom row which are the sugar pills. What I want to know is that because I started on the Thursday, I will only be taking 16 hormone pills before this period rather than the normal cycle of 21 for my pack. Should I take the pills in the blue area untill I have taken 21 then start my period and take the sugar pills. OR should I take the sugar pills in two days( despite only taking 16 hormone pills prior) and then continue into the blue area untill I'm finished that pack, then start my second pack normally( which would make the next month me taking 27 before my next period? Does this make sense? Or do I just take the pills in order( so sugar pills in two days) then once I'm finished the sugar pills start my new pack and take the 21 hormone pills normally and then the 7 sugar pills. Does this make any sense?
