When do you get ovulation cramps?

I've had all negative opk's everyday since cycle day 6, AF is not due until cycle day 42-45. Currently on cycle day 29 and having ovulation cramps. Wondering why I still haven't seen a positive opk. Any input? worried I'm just not ovulating AT ALL and don't have my next doctors apt for a few weeks to confirm if anything is wrong with me.
