I've never really had a "regular period schedule" and a few months ago had to take progesterone to get it out. Recently I've been having a week of spotting in which bloody discharge covers the top layer of my pad followed by a week where theres no more spotting. I usually think that the spotting was a really light period but then the next week is when all hell breaks loose and for sure that's my period because the blood is a lot darker and cramps.
