How do you help baby back to sleep after night feedings?

My baby girl thinks day is night and night is day! All night she wants to play after nursing and all day she's passing out directly after I nurse her! I know I should try to set the stage for sleep but having the lights out makes me fall asleep sitting up. What do you ladies do to help babies back to sleep at night? And up after feeds during the day?

I started slathering him up good with butt paste so I can skip changing him at night. I keep the lights off, feed him, and lay him right back down. He sleeps in a bassinet next to me so that helps. Sometimes he squirms a lot, if he doesn't calm down u put him in bed with me. I know that's "bad" but he sleeps for hours if he's by me

I change him quickly then wrap him back up n feed him in darkness he's almost 7 wks n never plays around now, he knows darkness means night time n that means sleep time

I change her diaper when she wakes and then feed her. I use a halo sleep sack swaddler so it's easy to wrap her back up again once she's asleep. She won't nurse unless her hands are free. I let her nurse for a while on the second side and she tends to fall asleep. Then I'll sit and play on my phone for a bit till she's in a deep sleep and put her back in her crib. I have a night light so the room is as dark as possible. The halo has made a huge difference. She would always wake up when I swaddled her before but this style is much easier.

We have a projector that provided enough light to do night feedings. I also use butt paste at night and don't do night diaper changes unless she takes a big poo which usually happens during a feed, but she rarely poops at night.  Baby just stays in her swaddle, eats, and goes back to sleep. I keep her upright for at least 15 minutes to prevent grunting and discomfort. Sometimes she needs a little more time with that. It is hard not falling asleep like that but I watch Netflix on my phone to try and stay up lol. In the morning I take her to the living room and take her to the windows and open up the blinds so she can see all the light. I did that with her as soon as we got home and she's never had a problem with day/night confusion. I guess I just make daytime very
obvious and nighttime very obvious. We even have towels over our bedroom window because she goes to bed when it's still light out.

My husband and I have been sleeping with the closet light on since our daughter was born. It keeps the room dark enough for all three of us to sleep, but when she wakes up in the middle of the night, I have just enough light to see what I'm doing. I'll feed her on one side, then I change her diaper and swaddle her back up, and then I feed her on the other side. By the time I'm done burping her, she is almost always back to sleep!

Have you tried nursing at night in the side lying position? This makes my baby (and me!) sleepy. I have to set a timer now because we've literally fallen asleep together and had hour + long nursing sessions 😂 
I also swaddle after, use dimmed lights and a noise machine to help get baby to sleep.

Mine will fall asleep after day feedings but just for a few minutes or a nap. At night he seems wide awake sometimes but I can put him in his rock n play with the lights off and sometimes rock him a little and sometimes he wants a paci but sometimes I can just leave the room and he will fall back asleep.
