Tylenol for possible contractions/cramps?

I'm 39 weeks 2 days and have just started having pretty bad period-like cramps. I have no clue if they are contractions but I need pain relief! Any experience with taking Tylenol for this kind of pain?

If you're in enough pain that you're seeking pain relief, you should probably head to the hospital so they can monitor possible contractions, or at least make sure the pain isn't something more serious...

Yup I've been taking it the past two days for cramps/contractions. Helps a small bit l, enough to get by until they get more intense/consistent

I'm not from America but I'm sure Tylenol is paracetamol?? If so they are 100% safe to take, my midwife said they don't go into the placenta

So my doctor said to take two Tylenol for these cramps, but I'm still in so much pain! Any other ideas for dealing with these contractions before you head to the hospital?

I specifically asked my OB yesterday about what to take for headaches. He said Tylenol was completely safe. He even said take it with caffeine to help it go away even faster. He also said you can take up to 6 a day and be ok.
