Glucose test Don't and Do's?

I'll be 28 weeks next monday and my glucose test is that Tuesday !

Things to do and what to avoid the day before and morning of ?
First time pregnancy so new to all of this :)

How come so many people are saying not to fast? My doctor told me I need to fast for 4 hours!! I normally eat every 2 hours so I made the appt for 9am and I'll just have to have breakfast after my appt instead of my normal 630am but I am not looking forward to it 😩😩😩

I didn't do anything special..
You wanna make sure you eat and drink what you normally would so the tests will be accurate otherwise it'll be harder for your doctor to properly care care for and diagnosis symptoms in the future. 
But do what your doctor instructs you to...fasting and what not

I was told not to starve my self or fast . To eat a healthy breakfast :)

I was told not to eat after mid night until my test... I would call to make sure cause that would be a waste of a trip if you don't day and you were suppose to

If you were not told to fast before hand, then just eat normal. I would suggest avoiding excessive sugar, like pop tarts and brownies for breakfast.

I was told eat protein so I made eggs and had milk and passed my test
