My son was nursing for an hour at a time, on both breasts, since he was born, every 2 to 3 hours. He has recently started nursing on only one breast at a time, for only 15 minutes. I burp him and offer the other breast but he just falls asleep. He will nurse anywhere from every 2 hours up to 6 hours. There has been up to 9 hour gaps between one feed to the next on each breast. I'm worried this will reduce my supply and possibly lead to the milk drying up? He is 4 weeks old. Thoughts or experiences are welcome.
