Period after HSG!?!?

Question

So I just got my first period after my HSG and holy crap I'm in pain. I could feel the cramping coming on and have terrible cramping and back pain. Additionally, I experienced a migraine today and am cranky and feel almost nauseous from the discomfort. I also experienced an extremely heavy flow for day one. Ugh! Can someone tell me it gets better!? This is awful!

Oh no! I just had an hsg done two weeks ago. Haven't gotten period yet- now I'm dreading it even more than normal!

Glad to see someone else experiencing this. Hsg on 7/6. Now af was 3 days late and I’m experiencing unusually miserable cramps on day 1 of cycle. Ibuprofen helped thank goodness! 🤢😫☠️

Same here! Just ended my first cycle after my HSG, cramps were way worse and my period came 3 days late! Sure hope this isn't how it's going to be from now on! Baby dust ❤️
