So my bf of almost 3 years is turning 36 next week. His bday happens to fall on a Saturday which he works but afterwards we are going g to an outdoor concert with his friends and family ...

So I had the "bright idea to invite his friends to a surprise intimate bday dinner at a restaurant the night before his busy bday and work day and the concert. I feel bad now because he works the next day and he had the concert... Maybe hell be drained and tired.

Is it unthoughtful to have planned a bday dinner ? I invited his siblings and two of his closest friends.
