Big baby at birth but weight gain as slowed
I have a doctors appointment on Tuesday to get my baby weighed and checked out about this but I'm wondering if anyone else as experienced this? My daughter was born 8 pounds 12oz and quickly gained a good amount of weight in the first month. Now, however it seems like her weight gain has stalled around 12 pounds for the past couple
weeks. The way I'm weighing her isn't very accurate (I weight myself and then weigh myself with her) and the scale fluctuates, but even so, it really doesn't seem like she's gaining any weight lately. She still has plenty of wet and poopy diapers, she still looks healthy and when she's happy smiles and coos and she's meeting her milestones, but it's starting to worry me! She's EBF and eats every 2 hours or so, and I know I have plenty of milk because I can pump a good amount and she doesn't seem hungry when she's done eating. Anyone have any insight??
