6 hours of cluster feeding?!

My baby is 1 month tomorrow. She's been eating almost non stop for the last 6 hours. I'll nurse for like an hour, she'll be happy for 15-30 minutes, cry and act hungry, eat 2-4 ounces of formula, happy for 15-30, nurse... Repeat. Is this normal?!  I'm exhausted!!

This happened to me last night with my now 8day old. Think my nipples are almost gone 😩😩😩 i hope this gets better soon

It turned out she's allergic to cow milk protein. We took dairy out of my diet and the cluster feeding stopped. Her pediatrician indicated she was just nursing for comfort. She's much happier now!!  And we aren't really needing to supplement anymore.

I hate having to give her so much formula but I just can't keep up with her!  😖 lol
