I was opposite to the women who posted the last comment, my time on the depo was horrific 😩 I stayed on it for the reccommended amount of time they say to let it settle into my body yet I bled day in and day out for the entire time, absolutly wish I never had it personally, so lucky for those people that it works for as it's rather easily kept on top of

I'm still on the depo shot, I know the longest you can be on it is two years. But I personally love it. For women who are using it for birth control, may not like it, Ive had some friends who stoped cause it wasnt worth it. The first six months are kinda rough. You have very irregular periods, that can last for weeks or months. Some women don't experience any symptoms. But after that its fine, you get a light period maybe every 3 months.( at least for me, it works different for all women.) Im on it because before depo, I had very heavy periods That lasted 2 weeks. I hate to wear nighttime pads and bled threw them in 2 hrs, I couldn't leave bed and missed a lot of school. It also made me very anemic and I regularly got ovarian cyst that caused lots of pain. So the first six months of lighter irregular periods was nothing for me. And it drastically improved my life, virtualy period, no anemia, and no cysts.
