Did you get an IVF calendar?

We went in for our nurse consult today. For our schedule she gave a pretty hefty packet instead of a calendar. I've seen some IVF patients get calendars that shows which meds to take each day, to me that seems easier to follow vs a packet. I asked our nurse and she said calendars are only for FET patients.

I didn't get that until I actually started IVF. They can't really give you a calendar too far in advance because EVERYTHING depends on your ultra sounds and blood work. The drugs can also change so any calendar you get for longer than a week is bound to change.

Last week we expected to be doing our FET on Monday but then my bloodwork came back and as a result, our FET has been cancelled, I was told to stop my three current meds and switch to something that will basically reset me. After my period starts (whenever that happens), I'll be on estrogen injections and something else I can't recall, in an effort to increase my estrogen levels and get ready for the transfer. Your schedule has to be a little flexible when doing IVF because unexpected things happen all the time.

I always printed a blank calendar template and wrote out which meds on which days myself.
