HELP! Doctor is pushing for a C-Section due to low amniotic fluid.

Ceslie
Hello mommas!!
I have been on bedrest and getting monitored since 34 weeks(last Tuesday) after getting a growth ultrasound because of lack of pregnancy weight gain, which showed low amniotic fluid. The fluid has fluctuated over the last week, it's not as low as when I first had the ultrasound but still not in a comfortable level according to the specialist. The specialist wants me to have a C-section when I reach 36 weeks next Tuesday. The baby and I are completely healthy, no high blood pressure or protein found in my urine, he has been having "normal readings" for the non-stress tests, not showing any signs of other complications either. Because he is breech and has low fluid they are pushing for a cesarean. I'm skeptical about doctors and the push for an early delivery. My OB/Gyn and I will meet tomorrow for the first time since I've been daily monitored and seen by the specialists. I don't know what postpartum care would be for a C-section and I would love to hear other opinions or experiences with this. It's my first pregnancy and trying to stay positive and have faith in my body. Please help! Thank you 💕
