I'm getting an IUD inserted tomorrow. I'm not nervous for the actual insertion. I'm nervous about the medicine they want me to take 3 hours before, to dilate my cervix. I'm 16 years old so I'll be in school when I have to take this medicine. I forgot the name of it but it dissolves in your mouth...ANYWAY if I'm sitting in class and my cervix is dilating will I be uncomfortable? Will I have extreme discharge? I would skip school and stay home but it's finals week :/.
