So my partner and I share our finances, all of our bills are together, we have a son together a home and everything in between.

Our biggest fight seems to be about money - always! Its so stressful as i do the budget to ensure all bills are paid and savings are met an grocery shopping is all done etc & then check what were left with... however he smokes cigarettes AND buys lunch every day probably about $15- $20 per day on drinks n snacks.. i take heaps of snacks and food from home with me to work as im really responsible with money.

In regards to our money for ourselves i feel like its not fair as he gets a lot more of the funds than i do as he purchases food and needs a new packet of cigarettes every 2 days- does anyone else share money and what is your method? Need some help and advice or suggestions. My BF has been getting on my last nerve with his spending on food and smokes its increased alot more than usual and if i say something we fight and he says im controlling. I dont think i am at all and i find it really hurtful when he says that as im just trying to stick to our budget that we have and not blow all of our money-- One of us has to he responsible right??!!
