The weirdest thing...

So my first boyfriend and I dated from 2012 to 2014.

With the whole birthday thing I put it in my phone to automatically send a happy birthday text to him on his birthday (I'm forgetful cause of a car accident I had so I made it a special point to every year on the same day wish him happy birthday so at least I'd remember )

I got the strangest letter in the mail. From my ex saying he's had no way of reaching me, as my cell has since changed twice since we stopped seeing each other. It was a thank you for all the birthday texts over the couple of years, including last week's text. I was confused of course. Found out my old number is somehow still annually sending these messages to him. Weird huh?
