Postpartum hives???

It's been 3 weeks since my c section and for the past week I have been suffering from hives on my arms and legs it's absolutely awful and has put me in such a funk! I've been to 3 doctors and given so many creams to take and nothing I working ! My dermatologist perscribed me prednisone and I'm praying it gives me some relief so I feel like myself again! I was just wondering if anyone has ever experienced anything like this ! Please any help would be much appreciated !

I've been getting hives too!! Every evening/night I break out on my feet, hands, and arms. I have no idea why! Is it a postpartum thing?

Omg I had the same thing. I thought I was the only one. It was HORRIBLE. The itch was worse then post partum pain!! And I was scared to hold my baby because I didn't want him to get anything. Mine was mostly on my arms and legs. I finally ended up at dermatologist and I got prednisone- which cleared it up, so I hope it works for you too. So crazy!

BREASTMILK LADIES!!!!! Rubbed breastmilk on the areas everytime I pumped (6-8 times a day) for 2 days and it's vanished! Plus also helps with the itch! I swear by it!

I have the same thing I think mine may have been triggered by an antibiotic. Benedryl makes an anti itch spray that really helps but, I do ice packs and benedryl pills and I even got cortisone shot to aro the swelling. Allergy season is way worse than last year. Our bodies could be rebelling!

I've had hives too!! Not that severe though, but they show up daily at different times, only under my chin. I have no idea what they're from...I delivered vaginally though , not c-section.
