TMI: on and off itching and tightness. Pregnancy symptom?

For the past week or so I've had an on and off itching sensation and an added tightening in my vaginal area. The itch isn't constant... Just seems to happy with dryness. No odor or discharge. I've never had a yeast infection that I know of, but did some reading and have found it could be one of two things: yeast infection or early pregnancy. I never experienced this with baby #1... Does anyone have any feedback on this? I'm new to the area and am still trying to find a local Dr.
