Cot bedding?!

Hello! I'm a first time mum and I have no idea how to dress my baby girls cot. She'll be in a Moses basket initially but I hate that the cot looks unfinished! What did you ladies do? I'm completely lost! Thankyou in advance 💟

I just bought some cot bedding from Dunelm Mill last weekend. 
Baby won't be in it for a while but we will make up the cot so it looks nicer.

Just a sheet. Places like mothercare still sell bumpers, duvets, etc but your midwife and health visitor will explain that you shouldn't use anything like that due to suffocation, overheating (linked to SIDS), etc. As much as it doesn't look very pretty I'm glad I don't have anything else now as im constantly washing her sheets - can't imagine what it would be like with more stuff in it! Maybe just get some nice sheets although from personal experience I wouldn't have anything other than white because other colours stain easily when my little girl is sick (she's on prescribed milk and for some reason it makes pink sheets go blue).
