Anyone Know About Vanishing Twins?

Had my first appointment this week. I'm 7 weeks and found out we are having twins! We saw both babies and heard both heartbeats.

But then yesterday I heard about vanishing twins. I am super paranoid now.

The doctor scheduled me back for two weeks from now.

I was worried about a vanishing twin for the longest time. My mom had a vanishing twin at 13 weeks with my sister. I've heard that once you have heard/seen the heartbeats that the risk goes down. I'm 26.6 weeks now and they are both doing great! Try not to worry.
