Bleed on my boyfriends sheets?

Question

I feel so so bad, he planned a whole weekend of things to do and now he's kinda mad. My periods are irregular
so I woke up this morning and it looked like someone was murdered on my side of the bed and he loves to cuddle I even got blood on him. I cleaned it up and said sorry. He did get slightly angry and hasn't really said much to me today. Has anyone else had this happen? Do guys get over it?

he shouldn't have got mad in the first place, you didn't ask to get your period, he's probably angry because of the stuff he had planned, let him get over it, it's his problem not yours :-)

When I wake up in blood with my boyfriend, he jumps up, picks me up because I'm usually crying with embarrassment, he carries me to the shower gives me a kiss or two and goes change the sheets whilst I clean myself up. He then carries me back to bed and hugs me back to sleep. Your period isn't your fault, they are an effort as it is and he shouldn't be making you feel worse

I've had this happen before, I was upset and apologetic and my boyfriend was so kind and comforting, he cleaned everything up and told me to go get cleaned and that everything was okay, when I came back he'd made me tea and put on my favourite to show. He reacted well so I'm not sure what to say to you, maybe he was just scared by the situation and expressed it in anger?

If he's old enough to have you over and be in a serious relationship, he's old enough to understand periods and not make you feel like shit over something you literally have no control over. Is if something they can get over? Yes. He shouldn't have been under it in the first place. I wouldn't break up over something like that but I also wouldn't want to date someone who couldn't handle something as basic as PMS. It doesn't get any better from there if you ever plan on living together or having kids.

It's not ok for him to get mad over that. It is a part of life and he has to accept that. You apologized and cleaned up, he can get over it. Sounds like your boyfriend needs to GROW UP! He should've just brushed it off.

On a side note, if you're tired of irregular periods you should ask your doctor to put you on a pill, it regulated mine quite well.

I'm going to be honest. I've never bled on the sheets in 8 years I've been with my fiancé. However he knows when I'm on my period and when I'm sick during the first day (my period symptoms can really cause nausea and vomiting and intractable pain) and takes such good care of me. He doesn't complain or anything. 
He really shouldn't be mad considering your period is a part of you being a woman. But maybe he was just upset that it ruined your plans. Maybe talk to him about it?
