throwing up

Okay so I got my period today, and everytime I get it I usually have really bad cramps and back pain, but this time was so much worse. I was starting to have a panic attack from the pain, and felt very dizzy like I was about to pass out. Then I had thrown up, but there was blood in it. Is this normal?
