On June 6 I was out and about all day. Got a pedicure with my sister, went to the mall, went to a friends soccer game and then hung out till 1:30am. For the better part of the afternoon evening I had period type cramps, but thought nothing of it because I was 38 weeks 4 days. I was having cramping for the last 3 weeks with no sign of him coming. At 4am on June 7 my cramps got more intense, I started tracking them only to realize they were 4 mins apart lasting 1 min each. They were hard to walk/talk through so I called the hospital and they told me to come in. We arrived at the hospital at 5am. I was hooked up to a non-stress test for and hour. At 6am I was admitted and my cervix was checked, I was 4cm. By 8am I was fully dilated with my waters broke, and at 8:33am Pierce Montgomery was born 5Ibs 13oz 18 3/4 inches. 24 mins of pushing and minimal damage, I could not have dreamed of a better labour.
