Well today was my baby shower and after reading all of the horrible baby shower results here on glow I was very nervous. Plus the forecast said it was supposed to rain today and I know many of my guest wouldn't have shown up.

Well anyhow my shower was for 3 pm and it seemed as though all of my guest were running late. My husband and I was very disappointed and angry. But even though there were only a few ppl there on time I said a short prayer to myself asking God to take away my anger and help me to express my gratitude for someone wanting to give me a shower in the first place. After all it's all about baby dj. So it's now going on 3:30 and my husband and I decided to start the event! We are not waiting for anyone any longer. This is our shower and we said 3:00pm!

After starting the shower all of our guests disappointment changed. We began to actually have fun with the few in number! Then next minute you know we had a full house. Ppl showed up!! Granted they were late but after we began to have fun with our few we didn't even notice the guest list growing.

The food was delicious!!!

And to top it off all of my gifts were 85% from my registry!!!!😃

My shower was amazing after I decided to look at it with gratitude instead of disappointment!

And to top it off I prayed early that morning that God would hold the rain that the weather forecast predicted and today was a beautiful and sunny day. Not a gray cloud in sight!!! Ladies enjoy your baby shower! Despite of the things that you wish was done differently! Somethings are out of our control and when you decide to roll with the punches things will turn around! Baby dj has soooooo much stuff! Stuff that he actually needs!
