Hey ladies, so I am in what my Dr called preterm labor. I started getting contractions lastnight around 1:00am and went to L&D this morning at about 8:00am they checked my cervix while there and told me I am almost 2 cm dilated and 50% effaced. She stated I could have some spotting. I never spotted with my 1st born even after being checked, well today when I got home I went pee and was definitely spotting light pink when I wiped. So I went on with no worry and did alot of walking. I walked up to the near by McDonald's (had to have a sweet tea) and when I got back I felt like I was leaking so I put on a pad, because I was still spotting light pink when I wiped. So now with the pad on I walked around my yard for a good 2 hours. When I finally had to pee again. I went pee and there was dark brownish blood on the pad (not alot but enough to notice). And I was still wiping pinkish now also redish blood. So my question is should I be concerned? That was at about 3:30 / 4pm and it is now almost 11pm and I wipe and still get the pink/redish and there is some brownish blood on the new pad. I am definitely interested in hearing what your experiences with spotting from getting your cervix checked and any other advice that I can get. Thank you in advance !
