Do you think women with breast implants have self esteem issues?

This was a topic in my college class today. I'd  just like to hear other opinions.

Do you think ladies who get breast implants are insecure of themselves and have self esteem issues?

Not for medical reasons like breast cancer. Just for cosmetic reasons.

I voted Yes, and I am only saying that because anything cosmetic is driven by insecurity, or wanting to feel more confident . (Surgery wise)..

I personally got breast implants 2 years ago and I got them because I always had small breasts and didn't feel very womanly . I didn't necessarily "hate" my body , but I thought that I would feel more complete by having them .

2 years later, they just don't feel a part of me . I've had a few complications as well .

I think anyone who says it has nothing to do with self esteem is not being completely honest , or doesn't have experience with it .

That's my opinion though, from personal experience .

Personally, I think it's social stigma that drives most women to get implants. There is so much worth placed on a women's appearance which drives so many women to place such value on their looks. Self esteem can definitely play a role, but vain women want bigger boobs, bigger lips, bigger butts etc..

Ok so my boyfriends best friend got his soon to be wife breast implants because he likes tig ol' bittys lol.

She was an A cup and is now a DDD. It was so weird to see lol. She liked her boobs either way but tough shirts would fit her better if she had bigger... yah know lmao, they'd fit better she though. She is maybe 110 pounds, 5'8 and it looks like she is a stick with giant tittys lmao. She now complains that she can't fit into her normal shirts!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I tho m it's hard to make a blanket statement as each woman will have her own reasons, but I do know Statistically women with implants are 3x more likely to commit suicide... And I can't help but wonder if there is a correlation with insecurity

I got my boobs done after 2 pregnancies and losing 32kg
I earned those damn boobies!!! 
Sure i didnt like my boobs as much before but i didnt cry about it, i didnt avoid taking my bra off infront of my bf etc because of them
If i didnt get mine done i would still be living my life the same way
So really i think it depends on the individual 
Mine were a gift and a reward for all the hard work i did ☺☺💪💪

I got mine after breast feeding my two boys and wanted to have full perky breasts again. I never did it for anyone else but myself and I am in love with them. No one knows that they are fake cause they look so real and the surgeon was the best. You have to do it for yourself cause if you do it for anyone else you will regret it later.

I did i had an amazing body before my kids i was real confident about it once i had 2 kids by the age of 19 i lost it all i felt disgusted with what i was left with and so did my bd he let me know evryday how sick i made him i left him got a boob job thats all i did to my so call disgusting body and it made me feel as if i was beautiful again even more i felt sexy again i felt wanted by men once again so yes i got them because my self esteem was to the floor and that really helped

I voted no, mainly because it's not always self esteem issue's, some women just genuinely miss their old boobies from their younger before babies and lactation stage, i know i sometimes do lol i mean i wouldn't get implants as that's not something i want to waste my money on but now and then i think "man i miss when they where perky and happy looking" 😂
