Letrozole or Clomid...Anybody have tried any?

I finished my first round of Letrozole with not-good secondary effects. Anybody have used any of these 2?

I am in my 2WW of the first round. The only side affects I had were a headache, pretty much from cd 5-9, and tired about an hour after I took it. I ovulated really well though, so I will be taking it next cycle if we don't get a BFP this round.

I start my second round of clomid in 3 days. Not really many side effects other then really obvious cramps during ovulation and it brought my progesterone up to 15 from 7. Hope this next time it ends up with two lines as well.

Letrozole only gave me a headache but it was successful on the 3rd round when she increased it to 5. I am currently 5w4d. I have heard that clomid side effects are horrendous. Good luck to you!

I am day 3 of being on it. I have not noticed any side effects except for my period was super short.  Baby dust to you and please keep me updated.  I really hope it works this month!

Hi. I actually just posted asking for a buddy. My doctor is planning to start me on Letrozole. It sounds that there are far more side effects with Clomid. So praying I don't have a ton. Sorry to hear you are experiencing SE. Do you already have a buddy? Are your periods irregular?

I've used both. Never had any side effects. Cost about $5 with insurance. Ended up conceiving naturally after 3 yes ttc during which I had 4 failed Clomid cycles and 2 medicated (letrozole) IUIs w/ trigger shots.

When I took clomid it was $50 for five pills may be higher now don't think insurance covers fertility
