Opinions on euthanasia?

I know this can be a touchy subject, but would like to know your thoughts on it!

A person has the right to die with dignity. It's cruel and selfish to force a terminally I'll person to suffer in pain when nothing can be done.

It took my brother four months to die, slipping away a little at a time, dazed and in pain. The last night he had a stroke. It took 17 hours for him to die after that, unconscious, moaning in pain, gasping for air. He was 23. He should have been spared that. His fiancée should have been spared that. Our mom should have been spared that. He deserved a peaceful death.

Of humans? Yes, if they want to. It's their life.

Of animals? If they're suffering and can't improve, yes.

I think if you're deathly ill and in pain, you or your family should have the option to go peacefully

I believe it should be an option.
There are people and families that are hurting and can't do anything besides live with the pain and suffering until their bodies just can't take it anymore.
We give our pets an option of being euthanized when we can longer do anything for them, why can't we give ourselves that type of release as well

When are we going to wake up and realise that policies need to be made so this can become legal and people will not have to suffer and can chose to die with dignity. I cannot get my head around how we will help animals who are suffering but we won't help people?!

Pretty much against it. I just foresee a lot of issue with people being coerced into choosing Euthanasia.
