I'm a teen mom (rant)
I am a teen mom, accidental baby (of course). I'll be 18 when the baby is here and I'm scared as ever. One upside, I have graduated and work two jobs now and my boyfriend works full time with benefits and all. What blows my mind is that I have actually seen girls on this app trying to conceive that are younger than me (15/16) with people actually encouraging them. Although a baby is always a blessing, I personally think it is so wrong for these young girls to have the idea that having a baby so young is glamourous and I do blame social media for making them think that. As a teen mom myself, I always thought having a baby would be nice but not until I finished college and then moved out on my own because I will only get support from my parents for so long. Not all teen mothers are the typical stereotype thoughbecause I did graduate, I am working and now I am moving out with my boyfriend but instead of encouraging these girls that are so young, why don't we encourage them to finish school, get a good job with benefits and make sure they can support the cost of a baby before bringing one in the world not understanding how expensive and how much of a process overall it takes to have one? I'm support all mothers young & older but I just feel like 15/16 is to young to be TTC for a baby.
