During my last period, I wore a soft cup, and I honestly don't think my guy would have noticed if I hadn't told him. He even ate me out and kissed me after--couldn't taste or smell it and there was no mess. Like I am evangelical about soft cups now! (Not sure how well they might work for someone with a heavy flow, since mine is sort of light, but definitely worth a try.)

I know people do it and love it but both of us are uncomfortable with it. I've done it before and it's always a mess and I can smell it. Just gross. He also hates blood. So we just take a few days off and do anal once during that time.
