Did the crib you bought come with a mattress?

Most people think it should but I've come across quite a few that say mattress not included. However those are convertible ones so I'm not sure if it means the bigger mattress not included

I have noticed it depends on the store and which one you want.... been looking at some online at different stores because my grandfather said that's his gift to us and I am trying to find one I like but most don't have the mattress with it and I don't want to break the bank

Ours came with the mattress but it's only like an inch thick so we are still buying a different one.

Mine did because there was a special going on that week with the particular crib I wanted! Reduced price for the bundle :D

But otherwise if we hadn't bought it that week, it would not have included the mattress. Most don't that I can see (at least for my price range).

No, cribs don't come with mattress, unless u buy it. Just like a regular bed frame doesn't come with the spring boxes nor the mattress.
