Dating an unemotional personal ..?

Heyyy. Is anyone dating a not so emotional person? If so, how do you deal with it. Details would be nice :))))

My partner isn't one to show much emotional but I think he does when it matters most. He hates feeling vulnerable and won't let himself. I understand that's just how he is and I don't pressure him, over time he has began to show more emotion, and share a lot more feelings with me although still not as much as I would like, but it's heading in the right direction for now. I'm a poet and I very much adore beautiful, heartfelt arrangements of words but I have come to love what he shows me in the silence.

I would say the only way to deal with it is to accept it for now and trust that with time he will open himself up more. Try not to pressure him as it will only make him more guarded.

Why not as him to pick a song that makes him think of you? It's something simple and isn't asking too much. He may be able to share more in someone else's words.

I know how incredibly frustrating it can be at times, you just want to scream "TELL ME WHAT YOU FEEL OR SHOW ME!!!!" but we are all different and we need to learn to love eah others flaws.
