I'm 39+4 and have had swelling all over since week 36, but it's been the worst in my hands. My fingers are like sausages and the pain keeps me up at night. It used to get better after waking/moving around, but now it's an all-day thing. My blood pressure and urine have been fine. I'm avoiding salt as much as I can and drinking plenty of water... I've told my doc several times how much it bothers me, but she and the nurse just suggest splints (which haven't helped). Does anyone have other suggestions for relief??
