There was a new law passed not too long ago that states that anyone can use the bathroom of the gender they identify as. My parents are very much against this because they think that it will lead to a lot of rapes due to people claiming they identify as a certain gender, lawfully entering, and then raping innocent people. I disagree because that's like saying that lesbians should have to use a separate bathroom because they are sexually attracted to women and therefore will be inclined to rape them. You never hear anyone say that because its ridiculous. The majority of rapes happen in private settings like homes. There definitely is a possibility of there being rapes in bathrooms, but it's not like a sign on a bathroom door has ever stopped anyone from intruding and raping innocent people.  What do you think?
