Not your choice!

Before I start I just want to say I'm sorry if this doesn't go here, I thought maybe sex and relationships but I don't think so... ANYWAYS!

I work in a grocery store and I usually wouldn't post anything on the Internet about it but I just have to. This dad came to my line and he was talking on the phone and in my head I'm just like "oh you're another dick!" so I don't talk to him because what if it's a really important call? But as I'm going I listen to what he's saying and he's talking about his daughter and her boyfriend. She just graduated high school and is 18, her boyfriend has to go one more year because he just barley missed the age requirement for school, and after he finishes they both want to go on a mission (I live in utah) and he's saying she hopes she will end things before he gets back because she has to go a whole nother year, but he was just talking down on him. He's just like I don't like him, he's not smart he's to tall and skinny, and he's an only child. He even said he was a nice kid but he didn't like him and he won't let that kid ruin his family and if he can help it they won't stay together. I mean what a fucking ass (sorry for my language) it took a whole lot of me not to say something to him, because I know it isn't my place. But seriously you daughter is 18 she is an adult. You don't get to say anymore who she can and can't date and if she really likes this guy all she's going to do is resent her father! SHOULDNT YOU BE HAPPY THAT YOU FREAKING ASS CHILD IS HAPPY! I hope he try and I hope she pushes him away because he deserves that.

Also if you're in a grocery store don't be an ass and come to the line on the phone, you can walk around or sit somewhere until you are done. That's just rude as he and I'm sure that not how you were raised.
