Ok so I'm confused....I had my first period January 5, 2016 I'm turning 13 in less than two weeks... Wasn't I supposed to go as soon as i stated at 12 years old or am I too young{Mothers opinion} What do you think?

You do not need to go to the gynecologist just because you started your period. You should start going when you turn 16 or when you become sexually active, whichever comes first. If you want to go, ask your mother. Your parent will need to bring you.
