Shortening of breath

I was in the tub and suddenly felt a hot spell come over me. I could barely breathe and my head started hurting instantly. I got out of the bathroom and laid in the hallway floor for about 10 minutes, I couldn't move. Good thing my fiance' was home to fan me, get me some water, dry me off and lay me in bed. By far this was the scariest thing EVER! I felt like I was going to faint. And aside from all of that, I have these weird bumps on my belly that severely itches. Can I be eating something that the baby is allergic to?
