Is Plan B like abortion?

I've understood that plan b can serve as an aborficient .. How does one know if it caused an abortion?

Plan B doesn't cause an abortion, in fact it won't affect a pregnancy. Plan B works by blocking your egg from being released, delaying ovulation, and essentially forcing your period to start. In other words, it PREVENTS the egg from being fertilized. If the egg is already fertilized and you take Plan B, then the pill won't do anything. It doesn't cause abortion.
