How long after being diagnosed with preeclampsia was your baby born?

I was diagnosed with preeclampsia yesterday after results came back from 24hr urine collection, high blood pressure,  and edema (swelling). I'm beginning to feel really bad and I was just wondering how much time I have (general idea). I'm 34 +6. Thank you for your response in advance.

I am not *officially* diagnosed yet but I think it's just a matter of time for me. I don't have any protein in my urine and my swelling is minimal so my doc is just calling it PIH for now, but my bp has been elevated the whole pregnancy and within the past week it has been consistently creeping up. The past few days it has been hovering around 130/90 and today I had an emergency appt because it got to 140/100 (my bottom number gives me a lot more trouble than the top). I monitor at home and have been having weekly NSTs already. And now baby is measuring small because the bp is affecting my placenta. She was only 4lb 5oz at 34+3, 14th percentile. I have another growth scan at 36+3 and if she is 10th percentile or lower they are going to discuss induction. So my goal is to get to 37 weeks at least but I would love to get to July, however it all is up in the air and just depends on baby. That's the worst part is not knowing what will happen and just waiting to see. 😔

I was diagnosed at 31 weeks and that was in the hospital after a 24 hour urine screen. While in the hospital I had the steroid shots for lung development and a growth scan where she measured in the 36th percentile. My doctor had seen me at 30 weeks and said I had "the look of preeclampsia" with the amount of edema I had in my feet.

I was discharged from the hospital on modified bed rest and I've been okay for the past 5 weeks, I'll be 36 weeks tomorrow. I've been seeing a maternal fetal medicine specialist once a week, my OBGYN once a week and having weekly labs to check for elevated liver enzymes and platelet count.

The goal was to get me to between 36-37 weeks so baby wouldn't spend too much/any time in NICU. My blood pressure this weekend went to 100 diastolic, if it gets to 105 I'm supposed to go straight to the hospital. It was at 99 diastolic today. Not sure if I'll make it to the 37 weeks which is 6/22 or if we'll make a plan to act sooner.

I was diagnosed at 30 weeks, and we're planning on having the baby sometime this week. I'm 36 weeks now.

I was diagnosed around 33 weeks. I had my son at 35 weeks. It was scary but my DH was great and so were my docs at Magees. My baby is now 6 and thriving and one of the tallest kids in his kindergarten classes. :)
