Thoughts on Inversion Procedures?

Baby is currently breech. Plenty of time to flip but doc is already talking inversion procedures. I'm not too thrilled with the idea due to the risks associated with it. Thoughts?

I have friends from yoga who went to our chiropractor (who does yoga at our studio as well) and their babies turned. They swear by it.

I declined. My daughter was breech, and I ended up getting a c section. I decided trying to turn the baby is risky for the baby, and painful with low percentage of success.

Don't give up and do a c section!! I've heard way to many success stories and so many different things you can do to try at home even!

I was watching YouTube videos last night with hubby. I hope my baby stays head down but it deff cleared my thoughts on women saying it was painful as the women I watched were even getting tickled from the movement

I have never seen in go wrong. I have had about four friends need it. One on both pregnancies. During her past she had a couple of contractions and then after monitoring her over night everything was fine and she went home. Just had a perfect little girl last Friday! The procedure can be uncomfortable, but I think it is so worth it to have the peace of mind knowing they are perfectly in position, it will make everything after that so much easier!

Mine might need one and I don't think I am comfortable with it. My OB said they could just use a device to try and annoy her into turning which might be OK but I don't want them to try and flip her by hand because of the risks. We'll probably just wind up with a c/s if she won't turn.

Spinning babies, chiropractor, acupuncture,  massage, all good options to try first! Start now! A midwife or doula could give more great ideas.
