I say you might as well! I did! I waited 4 years to start TTC with my husband. I want a baby ASAP!

I found temping to be a lot more helpful than ovulation tests. Maybe that's a better option so he doesn't think you are crazy peeing on sticks all the time lol you only take your temp every morning

You might as well check, to maximize your chances. Maybe just don't constantly update him and be too demanding, or you might drive him crazy, or he might start seeing sex as a chore! Lol.
