Positive love stories? 💍❤️

So, I feel pretty hopeless for finding love right now..can someone tell me how happy and wonderful it is to be engaged or married to your best friend after years of struggling and feeling alone? I just need a boost of encouragement to know that one day I'll feel so incredible happy with a man. 😌

Well I'm not married but we've been together for three years. 
I met him in high school and for me it was love at first sight but it was not returned. He had his eyes on my friend and eventually dated her two years later. They ended up separating and after a while i told him once more that i was in love with him. He said that he thought he felt the same way but was unsure of how to properly date someone.

Its been tough trying to stick together for these three years of dating and five of friendship but we haven't gotten sick of each other, we make love almost every night and nothing makes us happier than seeing each other after a long day's work.

I think my story- as briefly told as it was- can be an inspiration to not give up on your love. Because it was two years before i was able to be with him and now we couldn't be happier.

You're not going to find someone perfect- but you'll definitely find someone that makes you genuinely happy

Up until January of 2015, I was in a very unhealthy relationship. I had no control over myself or my choices and in order to get away from that, I picked up everything and moved almost 1,000 miles away from home. It was terrifying to be in a new place and still have that controlling ex in the picture even from so far away. 
Only a week after I moved, I was introduced to this guy through my roommate, and we spent 2 hours just sitting and talking to each other. We started hanging out every night, just sitting in the lobby of our dorm until 2 or 3 am talking and watching tv. I told him I wasn't interested or looking to date because I had this other guy in my life. He said okay and we spent two months getting to know each other and making it very clear to everyone (except for us) that we were falling hard. 
I finally cut ties with my ex over spring break of that year and this new guy asked me out a week later. I still remember every moment of our first kiss, he was shaking and nervous but the smile he gave me afterwards made my heart melt. We dated solidly for the best year of my life and he worked tirelessly with me to get through all of the emotional baggage I had left over from my ex. I still have panic attacks and he just holds me and tells me he loves me until I calm down.

He proposed to me on our one year anniversary on a mountain at sunrise. We're getting married in March ❤️ He has never once faltered during the past year and a half of our relationship and has worked his butt off to make me feel safe and loved every second of every day. I honestly have no idea how I got so lucky but I know for a fact that I didn't move to SC to get away from my ex but moved here to meet my soulmate. He is so out of my league but he sees something good in me that I didn't even know was there. I am so lucky to be with someone so selfless and dedicated.

My bf and I Are not married but our story is just as cool. I was in an abusive relationship when we met. We met on this social networking app called Whisper. I was on there talking about how I was going to work up the nerve to leave my current boyfriend and then this amazing man messaged me. We talked and decided to meet up. He came to my house and we went to the park and hit it off immediately. He made me feel alive and beautiful again. I felt like I had known him my whole life. So we went to the movies a few days later and it just felt right. So that night when he dropped me off at home I broke up with my asshole boyfriend and I've never looked back. My bf and I have been together for a little over a year and we love each other without restrictions. He's a wonderful man and step dad to my daughter. I couldn't have basked for. Better man. I could say so much more lol but I think this is enough
