Idk if it's just me but today I wore my natural hair in an Afro for the first time at my job and for some reason it was a really big deal. Like my manager who's black said she likes my curls but basically everyone else was saying like I need to do something to my hair and other things like I need to take this "crap off my head". I feel like it's kinda racism because usually I flat iron my hair or wear long extensions but as soon as I begin to embrace my African American genetics it's a problem. Idk I just kinda wanted to get someone's opinion on this, maybe I'm just bring sensitive.
