Who's talking about taking guns away?

Why has every post on this site been a pointed "My guns keep my family safe don't take my guns away guns don't kill people!!" ? What about gun CONTROL, so that it's quite simple for you good people to obtain a gun, and extremely difficult for people who are known ISIS sympathizers, on the no fly list, or are otherwise being watched by the FBI for example, to get a gun?? You have to take a class and practice with an instructor for months to get a drivers license, because we don't want incompetent people driving cars. But any person in the entire world can walk into an American gun store and buy an semi automatic rifle? Why does everyone get their panties in a wad when background checks and similar pre processes are suggested? And don't say "if bad people want guns they're going to get them somehow" because  you cannot possibly argue that there are not steps that we can take to make it MORE difficult for guns to fall into the wrong hands. It's TOO EASY right now to get them, and that's a problem.
