Adding rice cereal yet ?

Baby girl is 3 months now and I'm wondering if I should start adding rice cereal to keep her full at night?

I'm waiting until I talk to doc at 4 month checkup. Babies are babies and will wake up some at night, from what I have read unless other medical issues are present 3 months is a bit early.

I'm skipping cereal and giving solids at 6 months. I do not mind if baby gets up at night if he is hungry. I'm nursing and breastmilk is much more nutritious.

We are doing cereal.  We started at 14 weeks. My son has acid reflux so doctor told us to do a cereal bottle twice a day to help coat his stomach. I do a table spoon with 4 Oz of formula. I usually do it mid morning and evening /night.. About bedtime. Everything I read said don't start it till 4-6 months but his doctor told me to.  Also make sure you give rice cereal not oatmeal cereal. And I just used next step up nipple when feeding cereal and normal slow nipple with regular bottle.  It's best and safest instead of cutting or stretching the nipple hole.

Baby 5. We always skip cereal. We do baby led weaning with whole foods when babies lose their tongue thrust at 4-6m!

With all three of my preemies their doctors started them on rice cereal after turning a month old for their acid refulx and its helps alot. Everyone has different opinions best thing to do is talk to your doctor and get their medical advice on when to start your little one thats the safest route to take

Most doctors say only milk/formula till 4-6 months old they cant digest anything else yet. We gave my first rice cereal and then baby food starting around 5 months, when he started grabbing for our food and showing interest
